The Lagos State Government has released the full report of the Judicial panel that probed the shooting of ENDSARS protesters at the Lekki Tollgate on 20th October, 2021.
Two reports were released; The first one is titled;
Report of Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Lekkiincident investigation of 20th October, 2020.
and the second one;
Consolidated Report of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on general Police brutality cases.
Members of the public can view and download the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the documents on the website of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice at
Attorney General Moyosore Onigbanjo,the state commissioner of Justice who gave the news also said that further inquiries should be directed to the Office of the Hon. Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice through info@lagosstatemoj.org,

The Judicial panel of inquiry into the Endsars protest stated in its final report that protesters were actually killed at the lekki toll gate. It said police and soldiers shot at unarmed protesters. That there were at least 9 fatalities. That the police tried to cover up the crime scene.That the CCTV camera footage was tempered with.
The Nigerian Military have earlier denied that any protester was killed and that they didn’t shoot at them with live rounds. The Nigerian Minister of information has also clearly stated that no killing took place. However the final report of the judicial panel clearly stated otherwise.
The Judicial panel recommends in its report a public apology from the Federal Government of Nigeria and punishment for the erring officers.
Meanwhile the United States has welcomed the final report on the Endsars protests. They await an official statement form the Federal Government regarding this new development.
