Man United Win, Chelsea draw, as Champions League Kicks Off

Chelase Kicked off their champions league campaign with a goalless draw against Sevilla. It was a game of little chances but Sevilla were the closest to score as Mendy’s excellent save from Nemanja Gudelj’s header prevented the visitors from going in front.

In the other game of the group Rennes were held to a 1-1 draw at home by FK Krasnodar. This means all teams in the group have one point each.

Chelsea’s next game is against Krasnodar next Wednesday in Russia.

Manchester United on the other hand started their campaign on a winning note as they beat PSG at their home. Manchester United had taken the lead through a penalty in the 23rd minute but a Own goal by Martial level scores on 55minutes.

How the English Premier League Table Looks after Match Day 5

Everton retained top position with 13 points after their 2-2 draw with Liverpool. Everton beginning to look like title contenders?

Aston Villa defied all odds to beat Leicester city away. They have won all their four matches played so far. They have a game in hand against Everton meaning if they beat Leeds on Friday they go top of the Premier League!

Premier league champions Liverpool are 3rd on the Table after 5 matches with 10 points and 1 loss so far.

Arsenal are 5th on the table after their 1-0 loss to Man. City; a weakened Man. City side in my opinion.

Wolves are doing well. After their away win over Leeds last night they move to 6th on the table.

Jose Mourinho Tottenham went from sublime to ridiculous to play an unwanted 3-3 draw against west Ham. They occupy 7th on the table.

Chelsea surrendered a 2-0 goal lead against Southampton. They have defensive problems and it is costing them already. Dow to 8th position.

Manchester City and United are just waking up to realities in this premier league season. Both teams are currently outside the top 10 on the table.
