Nigerian President Order’s The lifting of the Ban on Twitter

The Nigerian President in his Independence Day broadcast ordered the conditional lifting of the ban on Twitter only if Twitter meets the following conditions;

  • National Security and Cohesion; Registration, 
  • Physical presence and Representation; 
  • Fair Taxation; 
  • Dispute Resolution; 
  •  Local Content.

President Buhari reinstated why the ban was activated; that many people used the platform  to disseminate fake news and hate speech, he also noted that there were so many legitimate things Twitter was used for such as socialization and business.

It will be interesting to see when and if Twitter meets all the conditions.

However the  president has raised hope that the issues involving the ban of Twitter in Nigeria will soon be resolved.

UEFA Champions League Match Day 2 Review ( Part 2)

Match day 2 matches of groups E,F,G,H have been played.

In group E, Barcelona is rock bottom after losing their second straight game by 3-0 to Benfica. The first time this will be happening to Barcelona in years. It was all to easy for Bayern Munich as they defeated Dynamo Kyiv 5 nil.

In group F, Atalanta shot themselves to the top of the group after beating Young Boys 1-0. Manchester united also won a hard fought victory over Villarreal.  Christiano Ronaldo made it 2-1 to Manchester United in the last minute of the match. However, United remains third in the group with 3 points behind Young boys.

In group G, Salzburg defeated Lille 2-1, while Sevilla were forced to a 1-1 draw at Wolfsburg. Salzburg top group with w points.

Juventus top group H after beating  Champions Chelsea 1-0.  Zenit St. Petersburg defeated Malmoe FF, 4-0 but remained third in the group behind Chelsea.

Champions League Match Day 2 Review

The first part of match day 2, 2021/2022 of the UEFA champions league have been played. A notable surprise was Real Madrid’s loss at home 1-2 to FC Sheriff; the least ranked team of the competition. FC Sheriff now top group D with 6 points followed by Madrid with 3 points.

Ajax won their second straight game as the downed Besiktas 2-0. They are now joint top of group C with Borussia Dortmund who also defeated Sporting CP 1-0

In group B, Liverpool shot themselves to the summit after they put aside FC Porto 1-5. Atletico Madrid managed to come out of their away battle against AC Milan with 3 points after they had been behind for 84 minutes of the game.

In group A, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Manchester City 2-0 to go joint top of the group alongside Club Brugge

Coffee: How it’s made at home

Roasted Coffee beans

Coffee tastes great. Freshly brewed coffee tastes much better than instant coffee. This article briefly explains how you can process and make fresh coffee at home.

There ar e about 5 process involved in the prepare fresh coffee:

Harvesting the coffee cherries:

A ripe coffee cherry is red in  colour. A newly planted coffee tree can take up to 4 years before it can produce seedlings.

Removing the outer skin of the coffee :

Hand machine that removes the outer skin of coffee cherries.

 A special milling machine will do this for you. It will remove the outer skin of the coffee cherries and revealling the coffee beans.

Spreading the coffee beans in the sun to dry.

Spread the wet coffee beans under the sun to dry. It can take 2-3 days for the beans to completely dry

Removing the parchment: 

Remove parchment by slight blending
Using a blower to remove parchment

This can be done using a coffee blender. Grind the beans lightly and then use a blower to remove the parchment.

You can do this with a frying pan. Make sure you keep stirring the beans while roasting

Chelsea play Man City in Round 6 of the English Premier League.

Chelsea Vs Manchester City this weekend is the star match of round  6 of the English Premier League. Thaomas Tuchel will hope to continue his fine run against Guardiola once again. Chelsea will have the advantage because they play at home. However, Chelsea must be very careful of their opponents. This match will test the credibility of Chelsea as Title contenders. Chelsea 

are very much in form after beating Spurs 3-0 away. On the other hand Manchester City lost some form after they played a draw at home to Southampton last time out. Will the present form of these teams hold the key? Time will tell, but Chelsea are playing  the Champions, Manchester City. It will be a tougher test for Chelsea. If they win this match, then they will be unstoppable this season. Chelse are joint top of the table with Liverpool and Manchester United all on 13 points. 

Manchester United will also take on Aston Villa. The game may look like a walk in the park for United. However Aston Villa have been playing well lately. Manchester Uniter must approach this game cautiously.
