The Judicial panel of inquiry into the Endsars protest stated in its final report that protesters were actually killed at the lekki toll gate. It said police and soldiers shot at unarmed protesters. That there were at least 9 fatalities. That the police tried to cover up the crime scene.That the CCTV camera footage was tempered with.
The Nigerian Military have earlier denied that any protester was killed and that they didn’t shoot at them with live rounds. The Nigerian Minister of information has also clearly stated that no killing took place. However the final report of the judicial panel clearly stated otherwise.
The Judicial panel recommends in its report a public apology from the Federal Government of Nigeria and punishment for the erring officers.
Meanwhile the United States has welcomed the final report on the Endsars protests. They await an official statement form the Federal Government regarding this new development.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria yesterday defeated Liberia 2-0 in their penultimate game in group C to boost their chances of qualifying for the world cup in Qatar.
With 2 penalty goals in each half, Nigeria ended the Hope’s of Liberia World Cup qualification. The Super eagles controlled the game throughout, leaving little for the Liberians to cheer about. Nigeria tops the group with 12 points.
In the same group, Cape Verde defeated Central African Republic 2-1 to keep pace with the Super Eagles but 2 points behind.
Nigeria will take on Cape Verde on November 16. The match will be the decider of which team qualifies. Nigeria need just a point to qualify but Cape Verde must beat Nigeria to qualify.



Nigeria Super Eagles take on the Liberian National team in the race to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar 2022. The match will take place at 5pm Nigerian time.
Nigeria lead group C with 9 points followed by Cape Verde with 7 points. Liberia is at the bottom of the group with 3 points. Only the winner of the group will advance to the final round. Mathematically all the teams can still finish top of the group with 2 matches remaining.

Nigeria must beat Liberia in Liberia today to stay in pole position for qualification. Any slip up will be costly and Cape Verde will take advantage. Cape Verde will play the Central African Republic, it is an home game for them which they are and expected to win.

Reports reaching us indicate that the Naira has appreciated in the parallel market. As of today 11th November, 2021. The Naira is exchanging for around 540 to the Dollar or less. Before now the Naira has been exchanging for around 570 to the dollar.
The gain of the Naira has been attributed to the efforts of the Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN). The CBN has injected dollars into the economy, dealt with illegal forex speculators, and introduced eNaira which makes it easier to buy dollars at a cheaper rate anywhere you are in the world.
