English Premier League Match Day 3 Review

Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolverhampton Wanderers. 1-0

I don’t think spurs deserved to win this game, but Conte is getting the results and that is what matters now. Another 3 points for them, nice win.

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa. 3-1

After Villa Scored the first goal early on, it became their curse. Crystal Palace were ruthless in attack thanks to Wilfried Zaha’s brace, Game was done and dusted by the 71st minute. Aston Villa were simply not good enough.

Everton vs Nottingham Forest. 1-1

Everton are having problems, and Lampard’s job will soon be on the line if things don’t improve. Nottingham Forest fully deserved their draw in fact they should have won, but for lack of experience.

Fulham vs Brentford 3-2

Five goal thriller, what a game. Brentford came from 2 goals down, but it wasn’t enough. Fulham get their first 3 points of the season and into the champions league places.

Leicester City vs Southampton 1-2

A Thrilling encounter, Leicester City drew first blood, but a fine and complete comeback earned Southampton all 3 points. City’s poor form continues.

AFC Bournemouth vs Arsenal 0-3

Inform Arsenal simply outran Bournemouth. They are now topnof the table and they mean business.

Leeds United vs Chelsea. 3-0

Dismal performance from Chelsea Started by their goal keeper. After their disallowed first goal, it was all Leeds United. Chelsea’s weaknesses have been exposed, what next. Nice win for Leeds, they never gave Chelsea any breathing space. Leeds United up to 3rd on the table with 7 points.

WestHam United vs Brighton & Hove Albion. 0-2

Not WestHam’s day, the didn’t do enough to breakdown their opponents. Nice counter from the Brighton’s that lead to the second goal. Disciplined play from them too.

Newcastle vs Manchester City. 3-3

Brilliant play from Newcastle in this six goal thriller. Manchester City had to do the hard work of playing catch-up. Newcastle will be a team to watch out for this season. Draw for City means Arsenal will top the table after the conclusion of matchday 3.

Manchester United vs Liverpool 2-1

Derbies don’t disappoint, and this game wasn’t an exception. Manchester United may have lost their opening matches of the season coming to this one and they put up a fantastic show to win it. The morale is high in the United camp now. Game on
