England broke a long standing jinks by beating Germany 2-0 at Wembley Sadium. Raheem Sterling got the first goal for the English in the 75th minute while Harry kane headed in the second in the 86th minute to seal victory for England.

In the second match of the day, Ukarine edged Sweden 2-1. The game ended 1-1 at 90 minutes and so the match went into extratime. Ukraine left it late but scored in the last minute of extra time to make it 1-2.
