Group Stage of Champions League Completed. See teams that qualified.

The group stages of the UEFA Champions League have been concluded with most of the expected teams qualifying for the second round. A great team that did not make it is Manchester United. Even after starting well with an away win against PSG, they surprisingly failed to make it out of group H. They have now been demoted to the Europa League. PSG and Leipzig make it out of group H as 1st and 2nd respectively.

In group G, Barcelona eventually surrendered their group lead to finish second behind Juventus. This was after their surprise 3-0 loss at home to the Italian side, Cristiano Ronaldo scoring 2 of the 3 goals in that game.

Group F saw Dortmund and Lazio qualify as first and second respectively.

In group E, Chelsea overcame Sevilla to top the group. This was after Chelsea’s 4-0 demolition of Sevilla in their away match.

In Group D, Liverpool qualified alongside Atalanta

In Group C, Man City qualified easily as group winners alongside Fc Porto.

Real Madrid Survived an early scare in group B, but still managed to finish as group winners with 10 points. Monchengladbach finished second with 8 points.

In group A, Bayern and Atletico qualified in first and second positions respectively. This was the expected outcome. Bayern had it quite easy.

The draw for second round  takes place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday 14 December. The live stream will begin here at 12:00 CET
